Saigon

Visited Ho Chi Minh City for the first time ever last Wednesday for Tech in Asia meetup in Vietnam!
Heard plenty of interesting stuffs from friends who have previously backpacked over there, and was looking forth to the trip (though it’s for work)! :)

Come to think about it, last Wednesday has too hectic.
Flew down to Clarke Quay to rent the whole recording suite for our stint in Vietnam, teleported back home to grab my bag and off to the airport to catch a flight. And yes, I proudly proclaim that I DID NOT bring any bulky and nonsensical items with me anymore. (Not even my 3 peas in a pod…)

Andrew never fail to have a pressing issue about my luggage(s) and me, haha. But I proved him wrong this time, thanks to my really spacious new purple and awesome Kanken bag – which is NOT an impulse purchase. It was really bought through a 三思而行 process.

Worked in this really pretty Vietnamese-Western fusion cafe on the last day.

Ordered a Green Tea cake for dessert!
But taste-wise, kinda average… just looks too cute.

Fitting cafe decos and awesome music. Is there such a cafe in Singapore?

And last photo for today,
authentic STREET STYLE PHO!
I’ve tried the famous one which Bill Clinton ate in on the first day. The large portion was horrifyingly HUGE. But it was still good, though I couldn’t finish my portion.

Street’s Pho had a slightly different taste to it.
But not complaining, because it’s seriously better than the ones I’ve tried in Singapore and anywhere else. Me likes!
