Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse) will become a viking for his next movie role Northmen A Viking Saga. Screen Daily reports that the film begins production tomorrow September 9th and will last 8 weeks shooting primarily in South Africa with additional time spent in Germany.
The film centers around a group of viking Marauders who become trapped in Germany. No word yet about who Ryan will be playing specifically. But of the film, producer Karin R. Dietrich says:
“Northmen – A Viking Saga is a film that is close to all of our hearts. It tells a timeless story of courage, camaraderie and adventure, with exciting historical roots that have stimulated significant, and ever increasing, interest in the last few years. This is an epic and ambitious project but we could not feel more confident about the cast and crew that has come together to bring the story to life.”
