While Season 7 is the next – and final – installment of the HBO vampire show, there are plenty of loose ends to be tied up in only ten short episodes. The Season 6 finale bought us a new virus, Hepatitis V, which affects vampires. As a result, Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) and Vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer) came up with the plan to team healthy vampires up with healthy humans in a bid to keep the infection rate under control. How this will work considering a huge infected container of Tru Blood bottles made it out of the depot before it was realised, is anyone’s guess.
Add into the mix the fact that Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) is still out there after Jason set her free rather than kill her at Vamp Camp and the fact that Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) was left burning to a crisp somewhere in Sweden and there is plenty of scope as to who might be the next to die in Season 7.
