Rutina Wesley to Star in Commonwealth Shakespeare’s Fool for Love ReadingRutina Wesley will star in Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s free reading of Sam Shepard’s play, Fool for Love, to be presented as part of the company’s American Voices script-in-hand series on Sunday, November 6 at 7pm at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. Steven Maler will direct the reading. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

The play focuses on two lovers, May and Eddie, who meet in a seedy motel in the Mojave Desert and wrestle with the demons of their relationship.

Reservations are not required for the reading, and limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a special post-performance wine and hors d’oeuvres reception with the cast and director immediately following the reading for ticket holders who play $45.
