Where time stands still in the bustling streets of BTM 2nd stage.. a prefect place to unwind from the usual run..! (I can be pretty dramatic at times...!! 😉 ).
Easy to locate ..though its in the bustling streets of BTM.. pocket friendly.. good food with good portion sizes! It is situated on the 4th floor of a complex but only when you reach there you will see how lovely the cafe is! They are just about to turn a year old in April.
Ambience - The interiors are really striking, yet not overdone! Lounge music.
Highlight - They source their ingredients every day & make most of their condiments in house.. !! No compromises on that.. so loved that it was all fresh! They also have interesting paintings on sale from local artists.
My Take - A very soulful cafe situated on the top floor.The minute you step in you will fall in love with the place for sure. Not the usual rustic interiors you see in most places that are springing up in Bangalore .. the cafe has lots of natural light streaming in..no Air Con.. but you don't really need it.. they have large windows, some trees around so it doesn't get very hot. They have some very comfy sofas & quiet corners 😀 .. perfect for a casual date!!! 😉
So believe me when I say, a great place if you are looking to relax when in BTM & have conversations over coffee or read a book sipping coffee.. Forgot to carry your Kindle? No worries, they have a shelf of books you can take your pick & read.
I preferred the balcony seating as it wasn't a hot day when I visited.
The tableware is decoupaged & very pretty.
Clean toilets. This is very hard to come by in most places .. so kudos to that! 😀✋️ Did you think there will be a picture of the toilets?? 😉 Naa...I haven't clicked pics of the toilets.. ahahahah!!
They also host small events on & off, like live shows, art showcases etc.
Saw a lot of regulars around who were sharing a laugh & chit-chatting with the owner..! So, gathered it's a go to place for many people living/working around BTM for a nice relaxed time.
They have an elaborate menu... & most of it is yummy! I don't like it when there are loads & loads of options to choose from.. it's hard to make up your mind & order!
I tried the chicken & leak soup which I drank till the last sip! 😀 I'm a soup lover!
Fancy a good burger? They have some juicy burgers on the menu.. which you should try..!! Just like I did.. love gourmet handmade burgers!
Their thin crust pizzas 🍕 are really well done.. a little on the crispier side.. But you have to try it! I liked this crispy twist..
Recommended:
1. Their cheese burst lamb burger was a wower.. 😮 burst of cheese & loads of flavours.. !!
2. Casseroles are so yummy! It's a marriage of amazing flavours along with cheese 😋.. what's not to like here right! 😀
3. The barbecue pizza .. tried the veggie option & was really a winner.. I prefer veggie pizzas over non/veg.
They serve good coffee.. since I'm not a coffee person I really wish they add more options for coolers as it's summer in Bangalore, 😀 .
The music transports you to a shack on the beaches of Goa.. lounge music which is so soothing, perfect to let go & relax! Will love to visit them again.
