Truth: I’ve never seen Anchorman from beginning to end.
Will Ferrell was on Conan O’Brien’s talkshow while in character as Ron Burgundy, the suave 1970s San Diego newsreader from the 2004 film to announce the new film. So far it sounds as if director Adam McKay and co-stars Paul Rudd and Steve Carell will return as well. I may not have seen the original film, but I’ve heard how loved it is. There aren’t many times when comedy sequels are successful, let’s hope this one will be.
