ROLL Recovery R3 – Perfect Tool for Plantar Fasciitis!

By Debi Lantzer @debiL1611

If you are a runner, you have probably heard about a new company that recently broke into the running realm – ROLL Recovery. Their mission is to bring thoughtfully designed products to the market to keep endurance athletes moving – which is exactly what I need now that I’m adding mileage to my weekly runs.

In 2016, I wanted to get back to running.  I started out doing too much too soon right out of the gate. I would lace up and run five miles and the truth was that I wasn’t even prepared to run one.  You know what happened right? I developed plantar fasciitis on one foot and even worse, I had a fallen arch on the other. YIKES!!  The podiatrist prescribed orthotics and I has assigned “no running” for too long. I tried all the methods I could find on the internet to “fix” my problem sooner so I could start all over again.

It was in this great search that I was on social media one night and saw this pretty amazing looking roller looking thing on a feed somewhere that I was going to have to try sometime soon.  I headed over to their website and saw the other ROLL Recovery products available – one of which included the R3 – exactly what I needed.

I love the hashtags this ROLL Recovery uses too – #HurtsSoGood and #DIGDEEPER!! How perfect can they get in describing the help this tool provides for plantar fasciitis!! Anyway, the company was kind enough to send me the R3 and it turned out to be exactly what I needed! Combined with the proper nutrition and exercise along with the proper rest and recovery, the use of this roller has allowed me to be happy to announce that my days of plantar fasciitis are behind me!!!

And now it’s 2017 and things are totally different for me.  I started out by lacing up and running slowly and in small increments. I started with stretching and core and strength training as my primary workout and added a little running in between. Slowly but surely, I am really running now and I’m doing it very comfortably and I’m finding some small successes.

If you are struggling with plantar fasciitis, you have to check this product out.  If you have other “issues” common to us runners, check out ROLL Recovery’s Official Website!!
