This week I had 9 posts shortlisted for the POW. Everything from deeply sad and heartbreaking stories of loss and healing, to funny and cute observational posts. In the end I went for a post by the always awesome Rarasaur! And who doesn’t love a bit of Rarasaur! The answer of course is no one, everyone likes Rara’s brand of blogging and I am happy to bestow upon her yet another honor, the much coveted (in my mind at least) 7 Things POW!

Rara’s post “The Big One Oh” is just such an adorable story, and so well told that I think it deserves to be read far and wide. It’s a wonderful reminder of the innocence and optimism of childhood. I believe we have so much to learn from our younger selves if we can just look back and listen
