This is one of those paintings that when I finished it I loved it so much I wanted to hoard it for myself forever. It is uplifting, in a literal sense with its visual theme of form and color rising upwards, but I also find it emotionally uplifting. Hope and joy are emotions that rise upwards, in my mind.
This painting looks perfect on the tall wall in my entryway and I smile every time I walk past it! I actually finished it several weeks ago and I am just now posting it online because I didn’t want anyone to see it and want to buy it…ridiculous, I know. As a professional I should be over that by now. (But…please, don’t buy it!)
