Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipsticks

By Bbeautylove @bbeautylove

Rimmel has seriously upped its game recently and the new releases from their Kate Moss collaboration certainly don’t disappoint.

Released last month, her new formula’s are matte and promise vibrant color pay off and staying power. I loved the original line up but these are even more incredible

The color pay off is pretty much unrivaled by any other high street brand (except possibly Revlon) as it is so pigmented and gives a true color as to what is in the bullet. No wishy-washy shades here.

I have both the lightest (shade 113) and the darkest (shade 107) of the available colours and they are a pleasure to wear. Usually when you hear ‘matte’ you think ‘dry’ but not in this case. The lipsticks are super hydrating, they don’t crack or make lips sore. They glide over the lip, smoothing over fine lines and cracks to give a dense, velvety finish. But, even though they are hydrating they aren’t going to slide off the lips come lunch time.

Can you tell I am impressed?

The packaging is simple but classy, inverting the usual Kate Moss design so that the deep red tubes are easily distinguishable from her other line. There are great soft everyday shades and bolder, more vibrant night time hues, with 107 being the ultimate A/W shade.

I can’t stop wearing them and I know once you have tried them, all other lipsticks will pale in comparison.

I have always loved Rimmel lipsticks but these are a serious game changer. Bold colour, wearable finish and a great price? You better believe it because they are here.
