Riddell did some extensive research to create their new football helmet called the SpeedFlex. Safety is always a concern for this brutal game and this helmet has been designed from the ground up to deliver the best safety with the most field vision and on field performance in mind. A new stainless spring steel face mask was designed exclusively for the SpeedFlex which allows for a thinner gage an improved field of vision. Other features include a one button press to disengage the face mask, side impact protection, a ratchet style chinstrap for efficient adjustments in a fast pace and a five point custom inflation pockets for a better fit an protection.
