Review: Young Skin Plus Green Tea Essence Mask Pack

By Herugliness
Hello! ~A while back I already made a review of a Young Skin mask, but can't really say I liked the product much or would have purchased any more masks from this brand. I got this Young Skin Plus Green Tea Essence Mask Pack for free with one of my purchases though, so I thought I can review it just as well.Young Skin Plus Green Tea Essence Mask Pack ReviewYoung Skin Plus Green Tea Essence Mask Pack Review

The Young Skin Plus Green Tea Essence Mask Pack is a sheet mask, the most common type of masks in Asia. Each pack contains one single sheet mask of 21g and is used as following:
1. Clean your face2. Apply face mask on your face3. Wait 20-30 minutes till it gets dry 4. Peel off slowly from chin to forehead
I always have problems making masks like this fit my face, but the Young Skin one is clearly the worse kind of mask ever. I cannot make it fit my face anywhere at all. Usually these sheet masks fit at least somewhere, like your eye or mouth area and then just cause problems fitting the rest of your face, but this one must have been designed for someone with non human facial features. To make this fit my nose should be shorter by half, my eyes should be placed somewhere at the outer corners of my face, my eyebrows should be placed right above my eyes, my lips should go down to my chin, and my face should be much wider, and most of all, apparently completely flat.Young Skin Plus Green Tea Essence Mask Pack ReviewWhat's worse is that it starts to crumble off everywhere, around jaw, lips, forehead, outer corners of my face. It just won't really stay in place. It looks like the mask had already dried a bit and was therefore coming off on the photo, but in fact this was taken right after I put it on my face and it was soaking wet!
I love Green Tea facial products, but was very disappointed in the scent. Maybe this was because I had used a Missha Green Tea product right before the mask and it had this pleasant matcha ice-like scent, so the lack of any green tea scent, but a alcohol-solution like scent instead was very disappointing.
Regardless of how unpleasant the usage of this mask was, my face did feel awesomely refreshed after using the mask and that feeling lasted well for 1-2 hours even though I washed my face after using the mask. So the skin treatment seems to be quite well. Still, I would never re-purchase this or any other Young Skin masks and cannot recommend them, unless you have the face of an Alien.
