Did you know? The word 'Spa' stands for "Sanitas Per Aqua" which means healing through water. Water hydrates the body and the minerals found in natural water bring healing properties to the body

Now doesn't that description in itself just make you want to don a white toweling robe, slippers and just let your body be pampered? A big Yes from me!I was contacted by Dead Sea Spa Magik/Spa find, a few weeks ago to see if I would like to try out a few of their products. Being a beauty therapist I jumped at the chance as anything with the word 'Spa' in the title that involves 'me' being pampered for a change is perfect. I am a HUGE fan of body products as for me that is what a spa treatment is all about, the body being treated. Here are the products -

  • Harmonised Water Base.
  • Skin Friendly.

The 7 main dead Sea Minerals found in these products are Magnesium (de-stressing), Potassium & Sodium (to purify & hydrate), Calcium (anti-ageing), Bromide (relaxing), Sulphur (Healing), Iodine (detoxifying).

Mineral Fact: Almost every skin condition that we may suffer from is partly due to a mineral or vitamin imbalance within the body. By using mineral skincare like the Dead sea spa magik, the mineral levels within the body can once again begin to normalise and bring our inner health back to balance.

So, do they live up to being a home spa treat?

around £16.60/€21.00

What is it? A hair conditioner suitable for all hair and scalp types and very beneficial for hydrating dry and damaged hair. With Pro-Vitamin 5, gives extra shine, conditioning, prevents split ends, anti-frizz, fights dryness & dullness. How to Use: After shampooing, massage serum into scalp and lengths of hair. Wrap the hair in either a warm towel, clingfilm or shower cap (this fastens the active ingredients against the scalp for maximum benefit). Leave on 2-5 mins depending on hair type and damage, remove wrap, rinse out and comb through!  Use 1/2 times a week or often as needed & can also be used as a styling product. What I think? I was sightly confused at first by the title of this product being a 'serum' but its a hair conditioner. I am a conditioner addict and constantly on the search for WOW factor hair conditioners, spending a lot of money in the process. I have fine, blonde, highlighted hair that does get abused by heat from styling and by living in a warm sunny climate. I have to seriously protect my hair from breaking due to all these factors aswell as using products that enhance my hair color but do not weigh it down.I LOVED this product. So much so I even googled it straight after use to find out where I could purchase online to keep me stocked.
  • The texture of the condtioner is nice and thick, not watery, making it feel like a real treatment for the hair as a mask rather than a daily conditioner.
  • It totally transformed my limp, fine hair into total hair swooshing model hair.
  • My hair was super plumped up with volume and incredible shine.
  • Smooth and frizz free, even before straighteners which I never get unless my hairdresser dries it at the salon.
  • The scent is just divine, each time I moved my head the soothing spa aroma followed me around the room, that kind of seaweed, beach, pool scent that's really reviving.
  • It totally revived my hair color making my highlights look like new again as blonde hair has a tendency to go very dull and brassy.
  • When combing through, the comb glided though my hair, from root to tip with no pulling whatsoever, which only happens with more pricey brands.
  • Being mineral and natural it claimed not to aggravate my sensitive scalp which it lived up to.
  • Voted 'Best Conditioner' by Top Lifestyle Magazine?!

I'm really impressed with this product as it does live up to everything it claims to do. Its not packaged to fancy, just plain, simple and practical but most importantly it delivers fantastic results. The product is quite unique and one I am so happy to have discovered.

What is it? An aromatic and invigorating spa exfoliation treatment combining pure Dead Sea Salt, mud, and mineral extracts to remove dead skin cells and revive skin texture. Vitamin E to aid skin repair and protect and coconut oil to nourish and promote a soft smooth and hydrated body.
Claims to -
- Helps break down adipose tissue

- Reduces cellulite
- Detoxifies the body
- Increases lymph flow
- Improves blood circulation
- Speeds up cell metabolism and stimulates cell regeneration
- Relaxes the muscles
- Soothes nerve endings.

How to use - Stand in the bath/shower and take a handful of salts and apply in a circular motion over a dry body. Relax in a bath to melt the salts or shower off. BEWARE: surfaces shall be very slippery after applying this. What I think? I love body scrubs, salts, sugars etc as this is a treatment that I always book in for myself if I go a spa. Firstly, the scent of this is amazing, its coconut with a slight citrus, lemon scent, just fresh and exotic smelling. This was very messy to apply so do make sure you are stood in the bath or shower, but the chunks of salt are nice and big so you can really rub into the skin, leaving a light oil residue on the body. It doesn't feel harsh or painful to rub in so you can really get a good exfoliation with this.

After showering the salt off, my skin felt incredibly soft, hydrated and so much brighter in tone. It was moisturised without being greasy or oily and was able to get dressed almost soon after and left no marks on my clothing. Again my bathroom smelt gorgeous after using this!

My Overall Impression ...

Extremely impressed by both of these Mineral Spa products, especially the hair magic serum. I would 100% purchase both of these products and it has made me want to explore the range further and try other mineral products. The aroma you get from this range is so relaxing and does live up to being a little 'home spa treat'. If you love Spa treatments but cant afford regular trips to the salon/spa or just don't have the time then definitely go check out this range!International Stockists
