Review: Sally Hansen Salon Effects
Lately I've become obsessed with painting my nails a new color at least once a week, sometimes twice. I don't get to go to the nail salon as often as I like because I don't like taking Zahara with me because of the smell. A few months ago I discovered these polish strips and I immediately fell in love! They are extremely easy to apply with no drying time, and the colors and patterns are beautiful.
Some people think that the strips are "stickers" but that is not the case; they stick to your nails like real nail polish but they last a lot longer (5-10 days depending on the person.) Sally Hansen Salon Effects are perfect for a single mom on a budget because you can do them in the comfort of your own home (no babysitter needed, no foul odors) and they are very inexpensive. The cheapest I have seen them is at Target for about $8.50, that includes a set of 16 as well as a nail file and a wooden nail stick. I would recommend these polish strips to anyone who loves getting their nails done but doesn't always have the time or money.
Here is a picture of me wearing Sally Hansen Salon Effects in "Love Letter." The red polish is "Red Red" by Wet n' Wild.
