Review and swatch - Oriflame The One Eyes Wide Open Mascara. Oriflame is a new brand to me and The One Eyes Wide Open Mascara* is the first product I have tried from them. I don't know too much about the brand but it has been around since 1967 and is sold all around the world. It seems a similar concept to Avon where there is consultants selling the products.
I have said before that I love trialling new mascara, its the one makeup item I could never be without and the new mascara from Oriflame intrigued me.
The wand is designed to give your eyes a more opening effect. It is a cone shape, so you use the more tapered end on the lower and inner lashes whilst the fatter end helps add volume to the longer lashes.
I found that this shaped wand really did help coat every lash and I was left with fluttery lashes but didn't quite get the length that I usually like.
I didn't get any clumps with The One mascara and you can apply several coats without getting that spider lash effect. For me this is more of a day time mascara as even though it cover all your lashes it doesn't give a full on dramatic effect.
The Oriflame Mascara comes in two shades, black and black plum and is on offer at the moment £5.45. (Usually £9)
I think this is a nice mascara and I would say if you like more natural lashes give this a try but for me I don't think it is something I would repurchase as I have others I like more.
Have you tried Oriflame before? Is there anything I should check out from the brand?
