I say…

The Packaging: Your usual tall, standing squeezy tube with a flip-top cap.

The Scent: Now I know that it says it’s fragrance free, but I still sniff some scents from this – presumably from the ingredient combination. There’s something similar to  jasmine (?) scent , and it’s personally not my favorite scent. I’d much prefer it to be unscented.

The Texture: It is, indeed, as its name suggests – jelly. It’s a rather “thick” jelly in the sense that it feels substantial when you press against it, which results in a rather soothing sensation when you’re massaging it against your skin. There are some micro moisturising beads that dissolve with gentle massaging action. Even when massaged with damp fingertips, there’s no frothing/lathering.

The Verdict: Unfortunately, not something I’d continue using – this is based purely on my personal preference of the scent, as well as for froth/lather. I guess I’m just not used to using a jelly to wash my face. That said, I did not experience any outbreaks. Although it does leave the skin relatively cleansed and slightly hydrated without the stripped-dry feeling, I get this feeling my skin could be “more” cleansed, if you know what I mean – I guess I prefer a deeper cleanse.
