Review: Once Should Be Enough by Nikky Kaye

Are friends with benefits worth the cost?

My cocky friend Will doesn't believe that I'm frigid, but what does he know? His promises might make me shiver but it doesn't mean he can give me a happy. He's so confident he's betting me money on it, and a thousand bucks is a lot of money to a poor college student.

Once should be enough to taunt him with "I told you so," right?

But I didn't know he meant trying everything once...

This super hot 25,000-word standalone new adult romance novella has adult language and themes, and a happy ending (several, actually).

Spicy

Once Should Be Enough is an erotic novella and the first book I read by Nikky Kaye. Friends with benefits is one of my favorite themes, so of course I had to jump right in.

I was hooked from the first page, mainly because of the great dialogue. I thought the sex scenes were hot and diversified. However, it was somewhat predictable and there wasn't much about the main characters to feel somewhat invested or fall in love with them.

The pacing and the dialogue made this story great. I wonder what the author might do with a full length novel, I think she could pull it off easily! I want to read more of her books.
