Review: Nail Rock Velvet Manicure
Description: Nail art will always have its place, but a new twist on this that we’re digging is the idea of nail architecture. Thanks to celeb nail artist and Nail Rock founder Zoe Pocock, we can build gorgeous nail looks with the likes of glitter, sequins, and other fancy add-ons.
How It Works: Every kit comes with two pieces: a polish for a solid foundation and a pot that houses a textured topper. Accent options include Nail Sequin, for the ultimate disco-ball mani; Nail Glitter, to create serious sparkle; Nail Caviar, for a rich encrusted look; and Nail Velvet, which leaves a luxe matte finish.
This Pack Contains:
- 1 Nail Rock Polish
- 1 Nail Velvet Pot
Directions:
- Paint your nails with two coats.
- Dip your nails into the nail velvet, dust of excess.
- Allow 15-20 minutes for nails to dry, your velvet nail is ready.
Removal: Easily comes off with regular nail polish remover.

Overall this product is pretty cool, yes it is a little messy and time-consuming so you must have patience to just sit and wait for your nails to dry so they won’t mess up. I think this velvet manicure is great for special occasions–that’s when I will be wearing this again but I probably won’t be wearing this manicure on a daily basis. However I love that the removal process is so simple and easy, I hate when it takes so much effort to take off my polish–I ain’t got time for that. I really love the color and it has a super cool texture–this was my first time ever using anything like this before and overall I was pleased. This manicure is different and out of the box which I love so I will be using this product again and I do recommend it to anyone who likes to have fun with their nails or if you are looking for something new to jazz up your nails with, then this product is for you.
