Review - Lola Cosmetics The Light Fantastic Collection
Review swatch- Lola Cosmetics The Light Fantastic CollectionYes another spring/summer collection for you to check out and this one is worth having a look at. The Light Fantastic Collection from Lola Cosmetics is all about a sunkissed complexion, think sandy beaches and blue skies.
There is a whole range of new products in this collection, eye pencils, shadows, blushes, highlighter as well as lip products and nail polishes.
I have been testing out 4 products from the rang and I am really impressed. These are the first products I have tried from Lola Cosmetics and I can tell you now I will be taking a trip to Marks & Spencers to try more from the range.
I will start with the lip products and the Intense Lipstick in Dusky Pink* (£12) which is a warm nude shade that has a slight sheen finish. This feels light on the lips but still is full of pigment and lasts well.
The other lip product works well alone also over the Lipstick. The Intense Lipgloss 07* (£10) which is another warm nude shade but with a gold shimmer running through it. It is fairly pigmented for a gloss and gives a lovely shine to the lips.
There is 6 individual Eyeshadows* (£10) being launched and I have the shade 01 which is a matte black. At first swatched this doesn't look the most pigmented but it is so buttery soft for a matte eyeshadows and blends beautifully. I love using this to darken or make an eye look more smokey, you can really build the color up and its a fantastic shadow to have.
Lastly is my favorite product from the 4 and its the Blush Duo in 001.* (£17) This is as the name suggests is a duo product with half of it being a matte bronze shade and the other half a lighter, slightly shimmery coral shade. You can use them individually or together to give the skin a sun kissed glow either way I can see this being a staple this summer.
Overall I am really impressed with the quality of these products, they are all pigmented and creamy. The packaging is sleek and reminds me a little of Nars so it feels high end and worth the price tag.
The Light Fantastic launches in Marks & Spencers on the 17th March. If you can't wait until then check out the permanent range here.
