Review // Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall ShampooHair fall is a major problem in today's life. Hair falls causes with the sign of ageing, any health related issues and lack of proper nutrition. Honestly speaking our lifestyle is one of the main reasons of hair fall.  I had hair fall issue and after the delivery it has increased. I love to prepared homemade remedies which help to treat hair fall. But time has not allowed me always to do so. That’s why simultaneously I use anti-hair fall shampoos.
There are a lot of anti-hair fall shampoos in the market and it is very difficult to choose the right one for your hair. I have said earlier, I have a huge weakness on herbal shampoos. So I keep trying on various brands. Himalaya Herbals, one of my favorite brand. I used their Himalaya Herbals Gentle Daily Care Protein Shampoo. Which was really good shampoo for daily wash and I loved it. So I feel free to pick-up another shampoo from this brand. This time I bought Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Shampoo.
Product clams:
Himalaya's Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo is a breakthrough 2-in-1 formula that reduces hair fall and provides nourishment to hair shafts. It also conditions and improves your hair texture to reduce hair fall due to breakage. The herbs Butea Frondosa and Bhringaraja stimulate hair follicle growth and are effective in strengthening hair roots and controlling hair fall.
Key ingredients:
Butea Frondosa or 'flame of the forest' is native to India and Southeast Asia. It strengthens hair and helps promote hair growth.
Bhringaraja is traditionally used in Ayurveda for hair growth and hair dyeing. It nourishes the hair root, improves hair texture and reduces hair fall.
Chickpea nourishes hair and improves hair texture.
Directions for use:
Gently massage the shampoo into wet hair and scalp. Leave for two to three minutes, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
Effective for all hair types. Safe to use on artificially colored or permed hair.Ingredients:  Please refer to the picture belowReview // Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall ShampooReview // Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Shampoo
Experiences:
The product comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle with a green flip cap. The packaging is very simple and I have used 100 ml bottle which was perfect for carrying while traveling. But flip cap does not close perfectly. So if you are carrying this in your bag, make sure that you take the shampoo bottle in a separate plastic bag or tape the cap tightly to prevent any chances of leakage. It has a bit runny consistency and looks shiny pearl white in color.

The Shampoo spreads and lathers very well and also clean scalp very well. But I required a very good amount of product to wash my hair. After the hair wash I felt that it’s unable to make my hair shiny and soft. This shampoo makes my hair dry and seems quite tangled. For people with dry hair like me it would not be sufficient to just use the shampoo, following up with a good conditioner.

Now coming to hair fall part, I have already used two bottles of this shampoo, 200 ml and 100 ml and I don’t think that there is any significant reduction in my hair fall problem. Review // Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall ShampooReview // Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Shampoo
Pros of Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Shampoo:
  • Cleanses hair well
  • Nice fragrance
  • Very fairly priced
Cons of Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Shampoo:
  • Not Suitable for dry rough and frizzy hair
  • Not 100% herbal
  • Does not reduce hair fall

Overall, I am not happy with the shampoo. My hair is dry, and it makes my hair drier. Although it cleans my oily and dirty hair properly, but I have to take a good quantity of the shampoo for cleaning. Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Shampoo contains both parabens and herbal ingredients. It is not enough shampoo for dry hair.  I will not buy this shampoo again.
