Review: Etude House Princess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands #White Peony

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ I already wrote in my review of the Etude House Princess Etoinette Perfumed Hair Mist that I had the impression that the second line of Etude House's popular Princess Etoinett series lacked the beautiful packing design the original series had, and sadly the Etude House Princess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands #White Peony hand cream, which I want to review today, is no exception. This hand cream is available in two scents, White peony and Pink Rose and comes in a 70ml tube. The outer cardbox looks just as pretty as I remember from the first series, the actual tube is quite disappointing though.Etude House Princess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands #White Peony ReviewPrincess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands #White Peony Review Etude House doesn't have much to say about this product, expect that this hand cream is perfumed with an "enchanting fragrance". The product contains treating ingredients like shea butter and vegetable oil. While it is peony scented, there is no natural flower extract in it, but the scent is caused by the addition of perfume alone.

White Peony is supposed to be an "elegant fresh peony floral scent". The hand cream itself is white (the Pink Rose one has a baby pink color) and of average hand cream texture. I already knew what scent to expect as the Perfumed Hair Mist was also supposed to be White Peony scented, though I have to say that the scent of the hand cream isn't very strong. I don't mind that though, as heavy-scented products are often rather a turn-off for me, so the subtle flowery scent is very pleasant.Princess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands #White Peony Review The product itself works alright as a hand cream, soaks in fast, moisturizes my hands, smells pleasant, no complains from my side whatsoever. However, my big complaint is still the packing of this product. After all the packing of the Princess Etoinette was the hook-up for this product for me. The tube itself isn't even white, like the official product pictures suggested, but gray. The material is a weird thin plastic, similar to a tooth paste tube, so the tube looks crumbled all the time. I guess that means you probably can squeeze out the very rest of this product easily, but it looks really cheap and ugly. It doesn't help much that the outer card-box packing is pretty.Princess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands #White Peony Review What I expected the most from this Etude House Princess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands hand cream was a product that I could put on my desk and that looked awesome, my expectations in the product itself were pretty low, because most hand creams work well for me, unless they take ages to soak in. So I cannot really say that I got what I was hoping for. I guess if you aren't biased, the tube still looks pretty nice, but if you compare it to other Etoinette products, like the lipsticks or blushes, this is a totally different level.Review: Etude House Princess Etoinette Blooming Perfumed Hands #White Peony Pleasant scent
