I had mixed feelings about this novel. I felt a fifty shades vibe, you could see some clear references, but the hero went beyond that. Sometimes he was crossing a line, torturing the heroine, and those moments pulled me out of the story.
The sex scenes were good and Raphael turned out to be an alpha with a dirty mouth. I was surprised by how quickly Sofia learned how to use sex to get around him.
Overall it had steady pace, good flow, and I enjoyed the ending a lot, but I was expecting a big twist. The author left space for a sequel starring one of the supporting characters.
