[REVIEW] C.O. Bigelow Power Berry Mask

By Superbijinup @superbijinup
Hi everyone!

This will be our first review!  We're pretty excited to hit the ground running on beginning our foray into the beauty guru/reviewer world! It's such an interesting experience to try and put into words what we would normally be reading instead!

In any case, enough blabbing :) Let us continue!

The product that we are going to be reviewing today is the C.O. Bigelow Power Berry Mask.

[REVIEW] C.O. Bigelow Power Berry Mask

The boyfriend and I (Athena) were able to stop by Bath and Body Works to pick up some gifts for his mom and I happened to see this particular mask and a BIG 75%OFF sign.  I thought what the heck, why not pick this up and give it a try? I love their Rose Balm so I figured their masks may be worth a shot.  I looked at the price tag and it said $18! I thought hmm, 75% off of $18? How much could that be?

Lo and behold! The lady told me that it would be $4.50 after the discount! I froze and immediately told the boyfriend to go and get another one! :P Needless to say, I was pretty excited to give this mask a try once I got home!

So let's go through the basics of this product.

Packaging This is what the product looks like.  Pretty simple packaging and feels pretty sturdy.  It feels like it would hold up relatively well in traveling which is always a good thing!

Thoughts The actual mask doesn't have much of a fragrance though it does have a very light berry scent.  After squeezing some of the mask out of the tube, I was surprised to find that there weren't any sort of granules inside of it.  I thought that there would be some exfoliating properties to this mask but it's definitely okay that it doesn't.  I prefer not to use granule type exfoliators anyway.
[REVIEW] C.O. Bigelow Power Berry Mask
The consistency of this mask is very smooth and is light purple in color.  It goes on like a dream and feels very light as a mask.  Throughout the fifteen minutes, I was using the mask it seemed to have a light tingling effect on my face.  It wasn't too distracting but the mask did feel like it was working. After about 15 minutes, I noticed that the tingling had stopped and the mask was no longer wet probably due to the clay ingredient.  It wasn't too hard to wash off and my skin felt refreshed! It left my skin feeling pretty nice and not dried out even after half an hour.  It's just a little bit shy of the moisture content I would usually like though.
[REVIEW] C.O. Bigelow Power Berry Mask
My skin does look a little bit more evened out and feels smoother though I wouldn't say that this mask is entirely life-changing.  It is pretty good for the price that I got it for though!  Overall, I think that if you're trying find a very basic mask then this would be a good bet. Rating: 3.5/5 stars Have you tried it before? What are your thoughts?
