If you are a huge fan of sci-fi books with mystery and suspense, you’ve got to read 172 Hours on the Moon! It is written in 3rd person point of view which enhances the already existing mysterious vibe. It has 3 different point of views: Mia’s, Midori’s, and Antoine’s. I know that it is hard for some readers to follow 3 different perspectives, but it is very easy to differentiate the three protagonists. What I like about this book is that we’re given a background of the three main characters before they win the trip to the moon.
This book was really hard to put down since I was eager to know why they shouldn’t go to the moon. What was sinister about it? Will they ever survive? I just had to keep on reading even though it was late at night and I was super scared lol. I love the twist and turns that happened in the book especially the ending. One thing I did not enjoy though was the romance. It was so unrealistic and unbelievable. Good thing it was a minor part of the story! Overall I recommend this book to anyone who’d love a good scare! It’s hard to put down and is one of those books that will get you out of a reading slump.
