REQUESTING NOMINATION OF MY FOOD BLOG FOR THE 2016 SAVEUR BLOG AWARDS
A Blog is incomplete without its readers. 'Readers to a blog' are the same as 'an icing to the cake'. Any competition is incomplete without the support and love from the family, true friends and followers. The credit of a blog's success directly goes to its followers.
I have received so much love from all of you so far and need some more support today. It has been a great pleasure to know all my new readers through this blog. Many of them have turned into friends. I have created so many new ties with splendid foodies,food bloggers and socialists around the globe which in itself is wonderful. Getting my write-ups published in the papers like OXIMITY NEWS, THE EXPAT DAILY, CRITICLTHOUGHT, THENEEDS and many more still sounds like a dream which turned into reality during the past 6-8 months.
Getting a blogging invite from The Huffington Post was another BIG dream which has turned into reality so soon. It was unbelievable to hear from Ms. Huffington herself two weeks back. I am yet to publish my first post on HUFFPOST though (Would do it soon).
I perceived this blog of mine ("Ginger-it-up") as a breakthrough to Taste, Health and Happiness. So, apart from writing about food and sharing recipes, I decided to talk about life, happiness, well-being, parenting and social-issues too. I am proud to commit that my insight is spinning into realism day by day because of the immense love I have been receiving from all of you.
Let me take this opportunity to thank each one of you for your kind and appreciating words and selfless support.
The day SAVEUR announced about its annual blog awards for year 2016, I could just think of my awesome friends. Friends are the ones whom we can rely on for anything and everything. So, I need my friends today.
