P/2010 A2 is a small solar system body that displays characteristics of both an asteroid and a comet, and was initially given a cometary designation. It was first spotted by Hubble Telescope in 2010.
Some people seemed to think it was a alien spacecraft. Alas, after my RV session, it is obvious that it is just an asteroid that collided with another object (most likely another asteroid).
While it’s interesting looking and certainly fascinating to Astrophysicists, there is nothing extraterrestrial about it.
