REESE RAVES – December

By Reeseatomic @reeseatomic

Well well… we’re finally at the end of 2012! I can hardly believe it myself. Christmas has now come and gone and we are now looking forward to the brand new year. Exciting times ahead.

Surprisingly I don’t have any favourites this month…

REESE RAVES – December

REESE RAVES – December
Echolife Rose Facial Mist
This has been my lifesaver this month. We’ve had some sweltering hot days in Sydney recently and I’ve had this stored in my fridge so when I feel the need to refresh my skin, I take it out of the fridge and spray it all over and because it’s cold it cools down my skin instantly. Heavenly!
Available from Echolife.com.au for $19.90. They have the BEST customer service as well.

OCC Lip Tar in ‘Clear’
This is the second OCC clear Lip Tar I’m on and although it’s not my favorite lip prep product, but it’s still works just as well.
I’ve been applying this first, before I start moisturising my face to apply my makeup. By the time I get to applying lip liner and lipstick, the Lip Tar has fully dissolved into my lips.
Available from LipstickRepublic.com.au for $16.00, but if you drop RepublicVIBs at the checkout you can get 10% of your total purchase.

Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm
It’s the first month of Summer and I really love my minted lip balms because I find that the menthol cools you down a lot.
I never used to liked minted products because it reminded me too much of toothpaste, but obviously I love them now and rely on them over hot days.
Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm isn’t super minty but you can definitely feel it when you apply it.
I bought this from Scotty’s Makeup for $8.50.

Australis Paparazzi Perfect High Definition Eyeshadow palette in ‘Snap Attack’
I recently rediscovered this in my makeup collection and I don’t know why I forgot about. The colours are really neutral shimmery shades, which again, I don’t really like usually.
These colours are very pigmented but soft, which might be a little difficult with fallout but I’ve never had a problems with it.
I can’t remember how much I paid for this because it was such a long time ago, but I’ll say around $12 or $13 from anywhere that sells Australis.

Weleda Skin Food cream
This was first mentioned in my Incoming mail post at the beginning of the month.
This has been amazing for my dry skin this month, definitely worth trying if you too have dry skin. It makes your skin feel like cashmere!
Available from Echolife.com.au for $22.90.

Pitch Perfect
When I first saw the shorts for this movie I thought this was going to be lame. Similar to Glee (which I nothing against, but feel like I’m a little too old for).
But after I saw the cast and saw other previews, I couldn’t wait to see it.
Admittedly, the story line is weak and there is no real direction other than trying to out sing each other, it was still a great movie.

Other than the end performance, this was my favorite mash-up song…
