Red Lobsters Cheesecake

The name of this recipe on healthy lunch ideas contains lobster, but doesn’t mean it contain lobster in this cheesecake. This type of recipe makes you crave for more the soft crumbling texture and the cream filling when you bite on a slice. It’s just yummy! that all I can say. Red lobster cheesecake is not just a name and sorry all the seafood lover as I have said before this recipe does not contain any lobster. This recipe of an amazing dessert on healthy lunch ideas and the heavenly taste will only be tasted by eater. The maker of this recipe will be surprise with enjoyment, which is really a delightful feeling.

Ingredients:
Crust:

  • 10 oz. package Lorna doone cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 lb. melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 envelope Knox gelatin

Filling:

  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • crushed cookie crumbs for garnish
Directions:
  1. Crust; mix crumbs with butter, sugar, and gelatin.
  2. Pat out evenly over bottom of a greased 9″ spring form pan.
  3. Bake at 350, for exactly 8 min.
  4. Filling; beat with electric mixer: cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, butter, cornstarch, sugar and vanilla.
  5. When filling is perfectly smooth and creamy, pour into crust.
  6. Return to 350 oven and bake 30-35 min.
  7. Or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool 20 min.
  9. Before cutting.
  10. Sprinkle top with cookie crumbs.
