Recipe widget to boost Perthshire tourism experience

Perth based online-zine site, Small City, Big Personality has launched a new recipe widget that links Scotland’s year of Food and Drink in 2015 and the year of Innovation, Architecture and Design in 2016.

Called  #SmallCityRecipe widget, it can embedded into websites to enable business such as shops, accommodation etc to link up and promote local produce.  It is hoped that visitors to the area will see the widget and  ‘buy local, eat local’ while on holiday.

David Smythe, Chairman of Perthshire Tourism Partnership commented, “The weekly Small City Recipe widget is an ideal download to add to self-catering websites, and it is very easy to do. It not only provides changing content for our members but the recipes themselves are attractive to visitors who are booking self-catering accommodation and planning meals. The recipes come with a helpful guide to sourcing local Perthshire ingredients.”
