Recall Alert: Pottery Barn Dolls

By Bgme @babygearmom

Pottery Barn is recalling its popular Chloe, Sophie and Audrey soft dolls (part of its Kids’ Girl Doll Collection) because kids can possibly get strangled by the doll’s yarn hair. 81,000 of these dolls have been recalled in this country, 13,000 more in Canada. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the dolls’ hair may have loops big enough to fit around a child’s head or neck.  Also, the headband on the Audrey dolls can also become a dangerous loop if it becomes loose.

The 17 inch dolls were sold between July 2006 and April 2011.  You can cut the doll hair and/or remove the accessories or contact Pottery Barn Kids to learn how to return the dolls for store credit.  Call  855-880-4504.
