Real Togetherness.

By Shivam Ralli @shivamralli167
This year has been full of ups and downs for me. The start had been good while leaving my city was harsh.
I shifted to a new city, and had a taste of hostel life.
I must say,  staying alone has it's perks as well as it contains some downsides.
Before coming to this place, Kota, I was very close with my family. We still are, but during the time we loved together, we shared mostly everything which happened between us.
So, after coming here, to kota and loving in the hostel, I missed that close bond of togetherness a lot.
Now, the life in my hostel is like study hard, enjoy a bit and play politics. Yep, politics. Gossiping like old housewives. Backstabbing people.
In my hostel, I believe, gossip is the local currency. Nevertheless, I believe that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
That's what happened to me some few days after I arrived in the hostel.
I met a person who came to become one of my very good friends and shared every single thing of his life with me. When I say everything, I mean everything.
It never began like that.
After a few days of arriving in kota, I met a person who I thought was extremely arrogant and was flaunting his dad's money.I usually hate suck type of people and steer away from them. But he had a way of innocence about him which drew me to him like moth to a flame.
I felt compelled to change him. Compelled to know him.
I sincerely made an effort to know him. I got to know the child as well as the person who had faced a lot of trauma on his life.
He has faced death and feels responsible for it. He has been in love.
Whatever said and done, I believe that once a person has shared every single moment of their life, that's when the feeling of togetherness arises. It was never about leaving our phones. It was never about opening up.
For us, togetherness is having so much trust in one another that even though we are sitting in total silence, it's the presence of that person which gives us comfort. Time flies when you are just there, listening to songs and discussing about life.
We both might not be cut from the same cloth, but then, opposites do attract. Togetherness for me is with anyone whom you trust wholly. Be it family or anyone else. I don't believe that one can never reveal whole of themselves to anyone else. I did that, so can you.
Friends and family are what I term as togetherness. * This has been written for a campaign by Indiblogger and Kissan. Check Kissan here : http://www.kissanpur.com/ Real Togetherness. Real Togetherness. Real Togetherness. Real Togetherness. Real Togetherness. Real Togetherness.
