Somehow, I enjoy the quietness inside the studio : nice music, some coffee, and resting sight and mind in smooth light.
This morning, I completed a sketch started some time ago : one of the tips given by our Portrait painting instructor is to practice charcoal - trying to capture darks and white variations is, according to him, a good first step before progressing in adjusting colours.

Yesterday, started to study a composition for a Still Life : some flowers by a window, I spotted this view at Heatherley's, having a coffee break.
