Quad Day You Say? Or How i Learned to Worrying, and Love the [fill in the Blank as Appropriate]

Here we are – the morning of the Second annual “Quad” Day.  What is Quad day you might ask and what happened last year?

My friends, your guess is as good as mine on that one.  While we need little reason to drink a nice Belgian or Belgian Style Quadruple on a December evening, it does beg the question,  Why today?

It is not the start of the 4th Quarter, and I can not figure out any kind of date manipulation,  like you would if it was on the 12/3 or something..Google turned up no hits in my brief search.

Much like Barrel Aged Day (getting some social media push but no Untappd Badge) or the hugely popular IPA day (in terms of social media exposure and corresponding badge).  Quad Day has none of those trappings as far as i can see I can see.

Going by the old adage: Virgina, if you see it written in the Daily Sun (or emblazoned on a Untappd Badge in this case) it has to be true.

OK so we are making up holiday’s as we go, what of it?  Mind you, not that there is a problem with that,  I do think every calendar day has at least one or 2 holidays on it, be it secular or not at this point. Surely we can have room for one more?

Honestly as long as it is not a day that cards are required for, or if I am asked to yet again Get the Led out, or Pack the Fudge… no wait that’s terrible. who thought of that Radio Bit.  err you get the point. Enjoy your Cyberriffic Manic Monday have a drink, or not, eat some food,  trim hedges, prune the sheep, or what ever you feel like doing on your off work hours.
