Pure Phase Ensemble is a supergroup of sorts - it's an international music collective, created especially for the SpaceFest festival in Gdansk, which takes place annually in the first week of December. The Ensemble brings together select musicians from Poland and abroad together for a special workshop series, where they compose a concert's worth of music and present live for festival-goers. Each year, this unique performance is recorded live and subsequently released as an LP.
Last year, Ride's Mark Gardner joined the project and brought in his special shoegaze sound to the project, creating the Tomatrax album of the year for 2015, Live at SpaceFest!
Pure Phase Ensemble 4 have released a new video for 'Happy Dancing Woman' taken from the album.
In addition, Ummagma has created an edit of the song, allowing for all the dreamy atmospheric vibes to be felt while being contained within four and a half minutes it allows for the shoegaze masterpiece to be formed into the perfect pop song!
