Punch Bowl North West IPA – Russell Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Surrey's Russell Brewing comes their "Punch Bowl North West IPA". The beer pours a amber colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of citrus, tropical fruits, caramel and hops. The flavour is of caramel, citrusy lemon, tropical fruits, earth, resin and bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 6.5% with an IBU of 65. This is a very well made North West IPA and well worth giving a shot if you are looking for a 6 pack to have in your fridge.

Commercial Description: Subtle NW honey malt characters are combined with Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops to create tropical, fruity flavours such as stone fruit, berries and melon. India Pale Ale was a beer created to make the trip from England to India, Punch was a fruit drink introduced to England from India. So as tribute to full flavoured beer and to party drinks that can be spiked, may we present the Punch Bowl!
