It's not very often that I get excited about gossip relating to who is going to be writing the script (potentially) for an upcoming film, but when I heard that Danny Strong is in talks to write Mockingjay, I have to admit I got a little bit giddy.
Initially, I must admit that I rolled my eyes a bit at the story, because c'mon, they haven't even finished filming Catching Fire yet, are we really already discussing options for Mockingjay, but I guess that's just how the business works. As a writer myself, I can appreciate how long it can take to piece something together.
Now, for anyone who doesn't know who Danny Strong is, or isn't really getting why this news has excited me so much, maybe you'd care for an image of him ;)

Yeah, okay so the Geek Girl has really come out on me with this one, but he is apparently the scriptwriter on upcoming The Lost Symbol film which is kind of cool.
