Product Review: Shiseido Water in Lip Lipbalm

Did you know that Shiseido has a drugstore line of beauty products?

Yep, they do! They're not available here though. Shiseido in Manila, is purely high-end, which I think is a shame because I'm sure the drugstore line would do well here as much as the high-end.

Anyway, I have tried a few items and I must say, they're pretty decent. They're not as good as the high-end line but good enough to garner rave reviews from many Asian bloggers.

One of the products that I have tried and kinda liked was the WATER IN LIP lipbalm.

Product Review: Shiseido Water in Lip Lipbalm

Nurture your lips with this moisturizing lip balm. Innovative moisturizing pack formula instantly penetrates moisture into lips and keep it for a long time. Prevent peeling and flaking, restoring softness to lips. No taste, no fragrance, and no coloring. (My take on the product: source: webichi) What I Love: Product Description and Claims:

Water in Lip is just an ordinary lipbalm with an average performance. But, what made me like it despite it's average-ness is its non-greasy/ sticky texture and matte finish - it's super smooth and glides on easily.

-Glides on smoothly

-Gives immediate relief and moisture on chapped lips

-Not sticky nor greasy

-Matte

-Cute packaging

What I Don't Like:

-Unique Sakura flavor

-Has unscented variant too!

-A bit pricey as compared to other drugstore brands (P120)

-Wears-off easily so you'll have to re-apply every so often.

-My lips became even more drier after using this.

-Not available locally.

Overall, this is ok if you just want/need temporary for your dry lips. In short, "MEMA" (memagamit) lang!

It has been 3 years since I started blogging and up to now I'm still on the search for my "would be" holy grail of lipbalms. I can't believe it's so hard to find! Parang boyfriend lang (not that I'm lookin for one), ganun?!

Anyway, if you have found your own HG (holy grail), please PLEASE share it with me. Twit / Email or DM me on Faceboor or Instagram, thanks! ;p
