I may not have got my hands on the Ambient Lighting Powder yet, but I have been lucky enough to try out the No.28 Lip Treatment Oil by Hourglass*, which is making me very happy at the moment.

As well as alleviating dryness and chapped lips, this super luxurious product contains some powerful active ingredients, which are designed to strengthen the moisture barrier, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and improve the appearance of lip texture, shape, and volume. A lot of promise for a little tube! The lip treatment contains a blend of 14 essential oils, 10 lipid-rich plant oils and 4 vitamins, which nourish the skin. The three active ingredients are: Saliporine 8, which elevates moisture levels in the skin; Volulip, which improves lip texture and softness; K3 Viamerine, which hydrates and reduces the appearance and depth of wrinkles. I can't really judge the anti-aging benefits, but I have noticed a lasting effect on the moisture levels of my lips. They feel much plumper and less dry since I started using this product. It's very hydrating and makes my lips feel soft and thoroughly moisturised. It can be used night or day, but as it's quite a thick formula, I prefer to put it on last thing at night and give my lips a little massage to help it soak in. This gives me baby soft lips when I wake up! ALSO the applicator tip is 24-karat-gold-plated!!! Amazing-ness!

It's a little pricey at £32 - more of a special treat than a necessity. Then again, when it starts to get colder and our lips need an extra moisture boost, it might end up becoming a staple. Find it at Space NK, here.xx*my lovely sister gave me this to test out for my blog.
