Well done Prince Harry and the Walking with the Wounded team!! Today at 12.30 GMT accompanied by his 20 strong group of the bravest of the brave in the British forces, he reached the bottom of the world, the South Pole. The team of servicemen and women, all of whom had suffered serious injuries and the young Prince have been trekking across Antarctica for 3 weeks now in a gruelling and very cold test of endurance.

Harry’s chart shows a time of very hard, tough but rewarding work with Saturn having hit his public Midheaven and crossed into his 10th house during the time that he has been doing this challenge. His efforts have brought him world wide news and publicity. The Midheaven ruler Pluto is now poised to hit his Ascendant very soon now, to be exact on 3rd January next year, a time of huge transition for the 4th in line to the British throne. This is a wonderfully optimistic and successful time for Harry. Transiting Jupiter, the planet of exploration is making a lovely trine to his Midheaven, a square to Venus ruling his 9th house of adventures abroad, an inconjunct to Mars in Sagittarius his 12th house showing him having to make sacrifices in a physical effort and a challenge with military connections.

Transiting Jupiter quindecile to Jupiter shows a lovely link to giving, generosity and charity, all of which were fundamental  aims of the trek. Transiting Mars was making a square to Jupiter at the same time during the feat of endurance, another aspect of action and taking yourself to the limit with a group of colleagues. Sagittarius Jupiter’s sign rules his 11th house of groups and associations as well as the 12th house I mentioned earlier, Mars through Aries rules his 3rd house of transport and short journeys, they were covering between 15-20 miles per day in the snow and ice.
