There are thousands of things Christopher, Viscount Spencer, would rather do than hunt for a bride, especially since experience has taught him that women are not to be trusted. Then he finds the intriguing Lady Sarah scrambling around in Thorncliff's conservatory and he is instantly charmed by her passionate nature. But why is she so intent on avoiding him? Lady Sarah would make the perfect bride for a peer-if not for a tarnished past that she's hiding from the ton. A stay at Thorncliff Manor was meant to help her plan for her future, not fall in love. Yet Christopher's kisses are irresistible, his gallantry enticing. When her secret stands to be revealed, will the truth ruin their dreams of happiness? Sophie Barnes presents another win.

Lady Sarah's Sinful Desires is one the most enjoyable reads of 2015 so far. Slowly we'll get into all the secrets Thorncliff Manor has; a fantastic place mysterious enough to be the perfect spot for any romance. The secondary characters are fun and totally relatable, I'm curious about what will happen to them next.

I like how Sophie took the time to introduce Sarah and Christopher. Both go through some little adventures together and get close enough to start having feelings for one another. The plot is very satisfying and we're left with the impression that this story was well completed. In the end Sophie Barnes presents another win, a very well written novel.

Light Spoilers Ahead!(Previously) Review: Lady Sarah’s Sinful Desires & Interview Sophie Barnes

Nat: Hello Sophie! I just finished your latest book, loved it, my favorite you've written so far!!! It was very fun to feature a romance novel inside a romance novel through Lady Laura:

Sophie: Thank you so much for inviting me over for an interview about the Secrets At Thorncliff Manor series!

Do you have a title for her book already?
"Well," Lady Laura said as she casually stirred a spoon of sugar into her tea, "my heroine is a very willful young lady-a hoyden, to be exact. My hero, of course, falls madly in love with her because of how different she is from the other women of his acquaintance, even though his family is quite opposed to the idea."
I believe nothing is gratuitous and this might be a clue about your next book, so can you hint us about what was Lady Mary was doing in the gardens so early? I agree with Lord Spencer "if that (hurrying through the garden at dawn) is all that young lady was doing, I'll eat my hat"!

Honestly, I hadn't really considered it until you asked the question...Curiously, The Avid Adoration of Miss Amanda Pierce, comes to mind. Not sure why exactly - it's just one of those inspired ideas that's difficult to explain, I suppose =)

When will we get a chance to meet Chloe (Spencer's sister)? I have a thing for stories with female widows...

Hmmm...I really can't say too much without giving away the plot. However, I can reveal that Lord Spencer is right, (that he won't have to eat any hats) and that Lady Mary isn't exactly who she claims to be - just like all the other main characters at Thorncliff, she has a secret (one that could lead to ruination and scandal)

Lord Chadwick, Richard (Spencer's brother) and Fiona are the characters I'm most curious about, please tell me they'll have their own HEAs! Could you give my readers an insight into The Earl's Complete Surrender?

Chloe is the heroine in the next book in the series, The Earl's Complete Surrender, so you'll get to meet her on December 29th this year when the book goes on sale.

I see you enjoyed RT a lot this year! What question(s) readers asked you most during #RT15?

I'm writing Richard's story at the moment. In fact, speaking of Lady Mary, these two do in fact end up together. There's no title yet or any on sale date, but I am aiming for a Phantom Of The Opera feel to it and praying that I manage to get it just right =) As for Chadwick and Fiona, I have a few ideas, but nothing concrete yet since I've decided to take it 'one book at a time.' The Earl's Complete Surrender, however, will be a bit different from Lady Sarah's Sinful Desires since it's going to be more of an adventure novel involving spies and conspiracies.

Yes, RT was great. It was really nice meeting some of my readers, most of whom were curious to know more about the knew series - about the characters and which ones I plan on writing about next. In other words, very similar questions to the ones you've just asked me =)
