News, hot off the press!
Glasgow's newest restaurant opens this Wednesday 6th September. DRG (Di Maggio's Restaurant Group) will open The Citizen Bar and Dining Rooms on St Vincent Place. It's where The Trading House used to be, and next door to fellow DRG restaurants The Anchor Line and The Atlantic.
From their Facebook page it says that the 218 cover bar and dining rooms will serve "classic fayre, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner".
24 St Vincent Place was one of the first buildings in Glasgow to be made of red sandstone, and the Grade A listed building is stunning from the outside and we're sure it will look just as good inside.
This new restaurant takes its decor style from the building's history, as home to Glasgow newspapers, The Glasgow Citizen and The Evening Citizen. We expect lots of nice touches inside, just like the Anchor Line.
