Attention, you little flower child bride!
I know how it's like when it comes to styling your wedding to release your inner free-spirit flower child. You want all the florals and fauna you could get your hands on in the world. You want to bring your whole garden nursery to your wedding venue. You made a floral head garland for your cat, and you almost wanted to suggest your Mr to decorate his bushy hipster beard with sunflower petals.
The fact is, styling a flower child boho-esque wedding takes a whole heck of careful curation. You need to choose one distinct style theme that's unique you and stick to it. Throwing all different colours of petals and fauna together simply doesn't work.
Do not despair, yours truly is here to inspire. My Sunday morning routine of rolling in bed ( with my tablet & chai latte in hand) scouting the internet for some good reads has led me to discover these seriously swoon-worthy wedding floral artistry. These out-of-this-world exquisite floral creations were the entries made by a bunch of very talented local Australian wedding floral artists for the annual Tasselaar ' Top Gun Wedding Flowers' competition. What I love about this is that most of these artists are relatively new ( fearless) new-comers to the scene, while having already gathered some loyal followings in their local communities.
Here I present Lace n Ruffles' top picks among the Top 10 finalist entries in each of the three categories. Be prepared to swipe, swoon and pin while I walk you through this whimsical visual feast - these are any flower child bride's dreams!

This is hands down my absolute fave! For the indie bride who's bold, fearless and loves to make a statement - #TheDevilBrideWearsRed. Oh my!
And this one if for the bride who wants to accentuate their soft, sentimental and feminine side ( this actually reminds me of Odette's dance in Swan Lake, don't you agree?).
L.U.S.T. Another honeybadger-esque floral statement for the bold and free-spirited bride!
Decorate a green soul with a dainty floral head garland - I think this is nothing but just on point!

Our creme de la creme top pick is the cascading floral arrangement over the hanging modern chandelier. P.S. I don't envy the judges as it has to be an insanely tough decision to name just one winner!
