Pre-Workout Supplements

Let’s talk about pre-workout supplements, I know they are not for everyone but I really love them. Especially when I am heading to do a hard weight workout. It gives me a boost and provides energy, endurance and helps with a performance.

Since I don’t drink coffee I need a little pick me up at 5am! My advice about taking these, start with a 1/4 to 1/2 a serving until you know how it impacts you. Because of the ingredients in some of these you may feel warmer or tingling. I have found if I use 1/2 a serving it’s much easier on me. As someone who is 5’7” and weighs around 115 pounds I don’t need the full serving! Most supplements are based on a male who is 175 pounds. Any supplement will have different results on people of varying sizes.

XOJO is a protein powder your drink during your workout, I love the lemon lime flavor and it does help with endurance and recovery. And I am always in search of more ways to get protein in.
