#BrightonOTB A few weekends ago, a handful of bloggers and I were whisked away to the Great British Seaside courtesy of Brighton and OnTheBeach.co.uk. On the menu was a beachfront open air cinema, pamper night, food and gossip, so of course I downed all tools, packed a bag and hopped on a train.
To kickstart the blog-filled shenanigans, I met Kenzie from Lemonaid Lies at the train station to catch a taxi to the beachfront. We chatted all things food, blog, Uni and sausage dog related and she really is one of the loveliest girls! We met the other girls on the beach and settled in to our VIP booth with cider, wine and a hefty dose of Meat Liquor. Kristabel and I battled our way through hot dogs and chicken wings as we always do so well. Oh Brighton, you know us bloggers well.

Excitingly we got to watch a screening of Alpha Papa (accompanied by a stag do crowd in the general admission area...) with an introduction and chance to 'interview' Steve Coogan before, much to Liv's delight! The film wasn't to my taste but it was incredible to watch it out in the open on the beach, watching the sun go down and the stars creep out. I've already made plans for another open air cinema night!

Back in the hotel, us blogging ladies were treated to customised dressing gowns, a HUGE sweetie selection and a pamper evening care of LUSH Cosmetics. Lauren, Lyndsay, Fiona and I had a whale of a time applying fresh face masks and wandering around with first naked then green and purple faces! Bloggers uncut or what? It was super lovely to sit and chatter with Sophie, Lilla, Georgina and Lela before we all conked out and headed to our hotel rooms.

++ Might I just add at this point that the Ibis in Brighton is a lovely stay! The next morning we headed downstairs for breakfast and I hopped on a train home to complete puppy-sitting duties. A truly wonderful summer weekend start and a huge thank you to the Epiphany girls and to Fi for organising it all! I'm already planning my next visit to Brighton with some blogging ladies! (:
