The spirit of the “Mitbestimmung” [Co-determination], the German Business Model in which workers at the ThyssenKrupp Steel Plant, have a say in the running of the company, including seats on the board. What happened to that "spirit"? The color of money and the taste of the good life, that's what happened! As Karl Marx said; "Capitalism Corrupts"...whether you like him, hate him, or don't care either way...he was right.Pope Francis voiced the Bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia's words. Francis called for the 'logic' of "Solidarity and Justice"...over the logic of "Profit". In the words of Ronald Reagan, "There he goes again!!"...the Right sure doesn't like Pope Francis...Limbaugh shouldn't be too far behind, before his big fat mouth starts spewing more horseshit about his new favorite 'Marxist Communist', as Rush calls him. Or the "Anti-Christ, as most Social Conservative Christians...and Conservative Catholics...say.The Pope's problem with today's Conservative Christianity, it is said; that he cares for the Poor, doesn't believe that any human being should go hungry, they shouldn't go homeless...have a place where you can live with dignity. He also cares too much about the sick and infirmed. Feeding the hungry? Healing the sick? Helping the Poor? Sheltering the Homeless?...sounds too much like Jesus Christ...and they don't like 'that'. What does he know about Jesus Christ?...besides the fact of being God's official representative on this earth? They also say, that he believes in equal justice for all...and specially economic justice...he's statement on capitalism didn't go too well with Social Conservatism; "Thou shalt not kill’ sets a clear limit in order to safeguard the value of human life, today we also have to say ‘thou shalt not’ to an economy of exclusion and inequality” ~~ Pope Francis IAs Shaun Wallace said recently in an article, Francis is a force for change, and a powerful voice for those who 'need' a voice. It concludes; "This is what really upsets and scares the right, the elite and the fundamentalists so much about this Pope".
By being himself, and acting with the humility and the humbleness of Jesus, he's exposing the fraudulence of Social Conservative Christianity...with just some simple words and a kind smile.Pope Francis shows solidarity with workers of Terni: Do not let "logic of profit" prevail
