Polls: More Toronto Residents Approve of Rob Ford Than Americans Approve of the President

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

QMI Agency reports that a poll of Toronto residents conducted Wednesday indicates that 42% of Torontonians approve of the job that mayor Rob Ford is doing.

According to Gallup from November 19 to 22, President Obama’s approval rating in the U.S. was about 40%.

That’s right, Toronto’s mayor who admitted to probably smoking crack is more popular in Toronto than the President who denied knowledge that a web site did not work is popular in America.

3 Questions That Arise From This Story

1. “Why do people keep interrupting my Leafs-Capitals pre-game coverage to ask me if I’m satisfied with my Ford F-150?” Did you assume someone in Toronto was getting asked this question? Well, then you were tricked, because this article is about Washington, D.C. politics, too!

2. What percentage of Canadians are so polite that they approve everything, out of fear of seeming rude? (Do not ask this question to a Canadian because they won’t want to seem rude by suggesting other Canadians may be rude.)

3. Why doesn’t the U.S. government just let people sign up for health insurance on Facebook? Facebook already knows your birthday, where you work, what state you live in, and if you are a really keen poster, whether or not you have just stepped on a rusty nail, requiring a tetanus shot, because you were checking out your mobile news feed walking through the local contraction site.
