Playing Dress Up with Banana Republic Factory Store

Playing Dress Up with Banana Republic Factory StoreWhat I'm wearing: Dress, fur infinity scarf, and emerald earrings c/o Banana Republic FS (similar dress, scarf)
Is there anything more quintessential than the holiday party dress? Once December rolls around, I'm sifting through my oodles of party invitations (which is really like three) with one thing on my mind: Dresses! Glittery, feathery, ruffled, pleated, patterned, or in my case, the standard LBD, there's without a doubt a dress for everyone.
Some of my girlfriends have expressed that wearing a dress come winter (in Chicago) is just too fussy. Correction: It is the laziest possible thing you can wear. There's no mixing and matching, you are literally slipping on one garment. You're not even wearing bottoms for goodness sakes. Then for those over achievers, top with a necklace and earrings, and voila, you are dressed to impress in less than two minutes.
Thanks to Monogram and Banana Republic Factory Store, I recently had the great opportunity to do a little holiday dress shopping at the Banana Republic Factory Store. Their selection of holiday dresses will take you from the office, to your office's holiday party, straight to the after party. With $100, I put together this entire holiday look. My wardrobe has always lacked a great LBD, so I was eager to snatch this belted number right up. I instantly fell in love with this fur infinity scarf and thought it would be a fresh alternative to a necklace. It's my new favorite winter accessory. Then how could I resist these emerald studs? It's my birthstone after all! And no holiday look is complete without a red lip!
