We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale a few days ago, the dockage here is crazy expensive so it’s time to pay up the big bucks and get down and dirty with work.We’ve been ignoring our poor battleship for too long. We are the Clampetts in this Mega Yacht city. We will be here for a week. I will be cleaning top to bottom on the interior and washing every piece of clothing, blanket and pillow case onboard. Carl will be working on the rust patches on the deck and bilge. We’ve let the bilge go a little far and I must admit it is my fault, every time Carl brings out his air chisel, also known as the bad boy my whinny mommy voice comes out. But the baby’s sleeping, we’ll wake the neighbors, I’ve got school work to do with the girls….. are you trying to chisel my soul away???!!!
So now what was a little job has now turned into a bloody noisy big job. I would like to apologize to all the crew working on the mega yachts at the Hall of Fame Marina, I know it’s loud but hell try being on the inside of our boat.
