Okay, so Google is helping us out get over the disappointment of iPhone launch. With Note 8, I dare say, Android is already leading at 1-0 in the Android V/S Apple war. With all other major flagships already introduces, all attention now is on Google that will introduce the successor of the Pixel phones. Both Pixel and Pixel XL were very successful devices although like any other phone they too had their share of pros and cons. Manufactured by HTC, both the phones were pure Google products, in and out. We really hope that Google works out the Cons as the next gen. Pixel phone i.e. Pixel 2 too isn’t far away. Google has already started sending out the invites for the Pixel 2 launch scheduled on 4th October.
Latest Google Pixel 2 News and Leaks
As the launch is imminent, we already have started seeing a lot of rumors and leaks around the Pixel 2 phones. Furthermore, Google itself released an advertisement hinting towards the key features of the device. The ad asks users a few questions about their expectations from their device.

So what we can interpret with this is that the upcoming Pixel phone from Google will have a better battery life, unlimited storage option (via Google Photo, maybe), Improved Camera, improved personal assistant, faster Android updates, overall Google is hinting towards a much improved Google Pixel 2.

What to expect from Pixel 2
Improved Camera
The Pixel phone last year boasted of the best camera on a smartphone, as per DxO. This year Google wants to further improve the best camera on a phone by making some serious enhancements to the camera setup. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL may have 12MP rear and 7MP front-facing cameras which might be quite similar to the previous generation, however, there would be a lot of enhancements on the camera performance side.
Improved Processor
The Pixel 2 will come with a flagship processor from Qualcomm. There are rumours that suggest that the Pixel 2 will be powered by an yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 836.
Better Display
Going by the leaks, the Google Pixel 2 will come with a curved display with a 2560*1312 resolutions and 18:9 aspect ratio. Since Google was interested in curved OLED displays from LG, it hints that the phones may come with a curved display. Leaks also suggest that one or all the upcoming Pixel Pixel phones will be made by LG for Google
Squeezable Frame
HTC came up with a unique squeezable frame with the HTC U11. This means that the edges of the phone are pressure sensitive and customizable so when you hold tightly, you can perform certain actions like launch the camera application, turn on the flashlight or any other action as per your choice.
No Headphone Jack
Unfortunately yes, you read it right. There have been a lot of leaks that suggest Google might ditch the headphone jack this time around. So the pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL might not have a headphone jack after all. Lot of brands are ditching the headphone jack since Apple did that with the iPhone 7 and 7+, Google might be the next one.

Pixel 2 Price
Pixel 2 may come in more than 2 variants. The top variants are supposed to be priced higher than the predecessor while another one a “budget Pixel Phone” seems to be in making. Google may come up with a budget Pixel 2B along with the regular ones.
Latest Android OS
Goes without saying that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will come with the latest Android 8 OS i.e. Android Oreo out of the box. Also, Google Pixel 2 will be the first one in the queue to get the latest Android OS next year as well.
Pixel 2 Launch
