Pinterest Adds Verification for Blog's

By Balmainbeauty @BalmainBeauty
If you have a Pinterest account you can now become Verified with a link on your Pinterest account with a click and it goes to your Blog. At first, I found it a little tricky to get it to Verify (because I have very limited use of html or where I needed to upload the html file and then I found out you can't to blogger/blogspot) but here's how to do it with Blogspot/Blogger using the META TAG option.

Here's the video I watched which gave me a step-by-step guide on how to Verify my account. I feel like Bueka who made this helpful video explains it in much easier term's than Pinterest.

I chose to convert my Pinterest account from their standard profile (when it launched) to a Business profile and you can too, if your a Blogger, or indeed you have a Shop, or other Business/Company, Organisation etc. This is what my Verified Pinterest account look's like now with the White/Red Tick:

Once you become Verified on Pinterest you get cool tools and widget's for your site. I enjoy Pinterest, it takes a while to setup each board and I still have a way to go to get it how I want it to look, but it's well worth it because I pin my blogpost link's and also my youtube video link's on my BalmainBeauty: YouTube Board. I get quite a lot of views from pinner's and some rerepins so if you want to follow me on Pinterest this is my address:

I know a lot of other "pinning" board style lookalike sites have launched since Pinterest eg. pinnerly, pinfluencer and pinbooster but I'm sticking with Pinterest!

If you blog and your not sure if you need a Facebook page or Pinterest, I'd say go with Pinterest but I think it's alway's a good idea to have a Facebook page for your Blog and a Twitter account but it's up to your personal preference.
I found this through googling How To Verify Pinterest using Blogger/Blogspot on YouTube so I hope you find this information helpful and thanks to Bueka for his "how to" video.
